This past Thursday, July 21, 2022 The Joint Commission published its proposed new Emergency Management Chapter, for healthcare organizations accredited under the Home Health Accreditation Program, for comment. This proposed chapter will replace the existing Emergency Management Chapter. Visit The Joint Commission website to submit comments. Comments must be submitted by August 24, 2022. TJC anticipates the final standards will take effect July 1, 2023.
