May is an exciting month as we all have the opportunity to recognize and pay special tribute to nurses during Nurses Week, beginning May 6th, and to hospital workers during, National Hospital Week, celebrated the week of May 12, 2024. In March, ECRI published their annual report of the Top 10 Patient Safety Concerns. The list contained two new additions that caught our attention. Our first article, “Two Top Safety Concerns You Should Worry About,” written by Pat Cook, Senior Consultant and Head of Consulting Services, highlights these two areas of concern providing suggestions for strategies organizations can implement to ensure compliance and safe patient care.
