The Health and Human Services Department has shared that the current hospital Covid-19 data reporting system will continue to be required by the CMS Conditions of Participation through April 30, 2024. However, the daily reporting of this data may change to a lesser frequency in the future. This information was shared in the February 9, 2023, Fact Sheet: Public Health Emergency Transition Roadmap published by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services which also outlines other modifications that were made to various regulations during the PHE.
