Chloroprep is commonly used every day in Operating Rooms around the country. Please note that the manufacturer’s instructions for use (MIFU) are very clear as to the dry times for this solution. Allow the solution to completely dry for a minimum of three (3) minutes on the hairless skin and up to one (1) hour in hair. Do not use an ignition source (cautery, laser, etc.) until the solution is completely dry to the minimum time noted above as the solution contains alcohol. Refer to the MIFU for further information on use of this product.
