The American Heart Association announced this past April that their new guidelines for resuscitation will be released this October. (See https://www.ertss.com/aha-2025-guidelines-release/). This will include new algorithms and training content. If algorithms are kept on crash carts, organizations should develop plans to switch out to the new version as they transition to the new guidance. This would be an excellent time to review and update any additional resuscitation references kept on crash carts.
