May 2026 Newsletter
Greetings Everyone,
Happy Nurses Week! Thank you for all you do to provide quality and safe care. Your dedication and passion are so greatly appreciated!!
Nurses play a vital role in patient safety, disease prevention, health education, and care coordination. National Nurses Week honors both the history and the future of nursing. This month’s article, “Nurses Week History and Celebration” written by Teri Reinhartsen, Associate Consultant highlights both the history of Nurses week as well as suggestions for showing appreciation to those dedicated to the field.
Also related to nursing, we realize significant challenges healthcare organizations still face are workforce shortages, regulatory complexities, as well as financial pressures. Our second article, “Challenges Shaping Healthcare Leadership: Staffing, Margins, Regulations,” written by Sandeep Goel, President & CEO defines each of these challenges, examines their impact on hospital operations and leadership, and outlines practical strategies organizations can implement to address them effectively.
Thank you for taking the time to read our articles. We hope this information is helpful in assisting you with accreditation and regulatory compliance needs. For future topics or should you require our services, please reach out to us at info@courtemanche-assocs.com. Our team is always available and eager to assist you in any way we can.
